By joining Aligned Authors you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Program Commitment and Payment
Your participation in Aligned Authors is a commitment to the full four-month program,

You agree to pay the full program fee regardless of your attendance or if you choose to leave the group before the four-month period concludes. This policy is in place because your registration reserves a valuable spot that another writer could have used. Payment is due according to the payment plan you chose at the time of purchase.

Access and Participation
Upon the program start, you will be granted access to our private online group. This platform is for discussing writing topics, and connecting with fellow members. This is a moderated platform, and any content found to be inappropriate by moderators will be removed.

The program includes bi-weekly live Zoom calls held every other week during the defined program period. The schedule for these calls will be provided upon enrollment.

We are committed to fostering a supportive and constructive environment. All members are expected to treat each other with respect, offer constructive feedback, and maintain confidentiality regarding shared work and personal discussions within the group. Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior (as identified by the facilitator) will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the group without a refund. Grounds for removal include but aren't limited to speech or behavior deemed racist, xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic, shaming, or hate speech as defined by the facilitator.

Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)
In the event that a scheduled Zoom call or other group activity needs to be canceled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, power outages, technical issues, or facilitator illness), we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the session or provide an alternative solution. No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to force majeure.

Intellectual Property and Content Use
All intellectual property shared by you within the group, including written work, ideas, and concepts, remains your sole property.

By participating, you agree to keep confidential any unpublished work or sensitive personal information shared by other members within the private group or during Zoom calls. Do not share, reproduce, or distribute any member's work without their explicit written permission.

Please be aware that content shared within the group, including discussions and writing samples, may be referenced by the facilitator, Candice L. Davis, in future books or other content. All referenced content will be fully anonymized to protect your identity and specific work, ensuring no personal details or identifying information are revealed without express written permission from the participant.
