  • What airport will I fly into?
    If you're traveling by plane, you'll fly into Jacksonville International Airport (JAX).
  • What are our accomodations like?
    Williams House Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful, adults-only establishment run by a hands-on, detail-oriented owner. Rooms will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis when payment is made in full. Find out more about Williams House at williamshouse.com or tap the link at the top of the page.
  • What are the retreat dates and when should I arrive/depart?
    Plan to arrive on Monday, Nov. 11th and depart on Friday, Nov. 15th.

    Check-in at Williams House is at 3:00 pm, on Monday and check-out is at 11:00 am, on Friday.
  • Will there be seminars or other required activities?
    We've planned opportunities for you to connect with the other writers, ask questions, and get feedback or private coaching, but all activities are optional. There are no formal classes because this is your time to write!
  • What kind of people can I expect at the retreat?
    We'll welcome a diverse group of women who are high achievers in their fields and committed to writing their books. A couple of weeks before the retreat, you'll have a chance to meet your fellow retreat attendees on a Zoom call. Please see the terms and conditions for our inclusion policy.
  • Is there an extra fee for the private coaching?
    There is no additional fee for private coaching sessions. Simply sign up for a session on the day's schedule. It's included.

By registering for this writing retreat, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Payment: Full payment is required by September 30, 2024. All sales are final and non-refundable.

In the event that your "get to know you" application indicates your project isn't a good fit for the retreat, your full deposit payment will be refunded within 72 hours.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds for cancellations by attendees.

Transfer of Registration: Registration is non-transferable. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another person only with written approval from Anita Henderson or Candice L. Davis.

Force Majeure: The retreat hosts shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, shortages, or delays in transportation.

Release of Liability: You agree to release the retreat hosts from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages suffered by you during the retreat.

Photography: Photos and videos may be taken at group gatherings. You grant the retreat hosts permission to use photographs or videos taken during the retreat for promotional purposes.

Changes: The retreat hosts reserve the right to make changes to the retreat schedule or accommodations as necessary.
